Season 13 rookie Annemarie Wiley’s reception among The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers has been icier than the opening credit diamond that many doubt she’ll get to hold for a second season. Her laser-focus on Sutton Stracke’s esophagus has been awkward at best.
However, Annemarie mentioned in an interview that “sloppy” former RHOBH star Denise Richards was “awkward to be around” when she made an appearance as a guest at Kyle Richards’ THC “Dinner Party From Hell: Part 2.” Denise was on another level, but it made the whole episode! For what it’s worth, Denise has also acknowledged that her comeback went “sideways.”
But, Denise just responded to Annemarie’s comments after only recently finding out what she said. Now, now ladies; no need to fight. You’re both awkward, just in different ways!
Denise Richards: “I met [Annemarie] for five seconds”
If you aren’t up to speed, Annemarie basically criticized Denise’s dinner conduct and accused her of having an agenda – which was to come for Erika Jayne. According to Annemarie, Denise was “a little bit awkward to be around, honestly. And it was a little bit uncomfortable to see it after the fact.”
In a January 26 interview on Jeff Lewis Live for SiriusXM, Denise responded to Annemarie’s remarks. Jeff asked Denise if she thought Annemarie would be returning for another season. She didn’t really answer, but he asserted that she’s probably a one-and-done. He then made Denise aware of what Annemarie said about her. “She said something about you recently that you were ‘awkward to be around.’ Did you know that?”
Denise replied, “No,” adding, “I met her for five seconds, so maybe she was awkward to be around me and then didn’t want to talk to me. I don’t know. That’s really judgmental, she doesn’t even know me.”
Jeff also wanted to know if Denise ever saw herself rejoining the show full-time. She expressed an open attitude, saying, “I’m one that says ‘Never say never’ about anything. You know? I do enjoy being around a lot of the women and I had fun on the show.”
It would be shocking to see Annemarie come back for another season. She’s disliked among fans, hasn’t made any friends on the show aside from Kyle, and won’t let the esophagus mouse go. Petty petition for her to be replaced by Denise and her upside-down jacket!
