It’s not looking like the tension between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars Sutton Stracke and Kyle Richards is going to loosen much any time soon. Heading into the reunion, the two have been on a friendship break. This, despite Kyle’s marital struggles.
Kyle has had one hell of an attendance record in the media lately. This is largely due to her and Mauricio Umansky’s marital woes and the ambiguous nature of her and her ever-present friend Morgan Wade’s relationship.
Kyle’s media presence has been so frequent that people are questioning if her messy marriage issues are genuine. Or, are they just for clicks? Kyle vehemently denies it. However, when Sutton was asked about it, she stayed mum. Was Sutton’s silence telling?
Sutton kept quiet when asked about Kyle’s marital media blitz
Sutton set aside her purse full of Ocean Spray grapefruit juice and vodka to sip wine on a Housewives Happy Hour with Us Weekly a few days ago. Sutton was tasked with playing a game of sip-your-wine-instead-of-spilling-the-tea. When the topic of Kyle came up, Sutton got to sippin’.
Sutton was first asked if it was appropriate for the RHOBH cast to side-eye Kyle’s drastic life changes – like her sobriety and workout regimen. Sutton’s answer? A sip of wine and a loaded silence.
Similarly, Sutton opted for a wine sip when asked whether Kyle and Mauricio fabricated their split for media attention and storylines.
It looks like Sutton’s silence could mean that she agrees with fellow Bravolebrity Jax Taylor’s assessment of Kyle and Mo’s media moves.
Jax previously suggested that Kyle and Mauricio’s summer 2023 separation was a publicity stunt. On a January episode of his podcast When Reality Hits With Jax & Brittany, Jax remarked, “Everybody does things for clicks. People will ruin their marriages for clicks. I mean, look at what’s going on with Housewives. Now they are saying that Kyle and Mauricio were just doing the breakup for clout. For clicks. They are doing that.”
Confronted with Jax’s perspective, Sutton averted her gaze from the camera and took a sip of wine, murmuring a subtly shady “Mhmm.”
Sutton and Kyle are firmly planted first-on-couch at the upcoming reunion, so maybe Sutton’s saving her answer for Andy Cohen. Stay tuned!
