It’s all been going down on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and with the confirmation of the departure of a current cast member, Lisa Barlow shares her thoughts and her dream future castmates. And let’s just say, she certainly knows how to dream big.
Lisa spoke with Vulture to talk about the latest happenings on RHOSLC, as well as Reality Von Tease, the fallout of Monica Garcia’s actions and departure, Jen (Shah) vs. Monica, and who Lisa would love to be on the show.
Lisa wants a little Hollywood in Salt Lake City
By now, everyone knows what went down in the RHOSLC Season 4 finale. Monica was exposed as having a hand in running the troll Instagram account, Reality Von Tease. The cast decided to demand she leave the group right there and then.
“With Jen, we allowed her the benefit of the doubt while due process played out,” Lisa explained. “But with Monica, we knew she was guilty because the proof was there — receipts, timelines…”
For Lisa, that made the difference. And while the reality world is still processing Monica’s departure from the show (which Monica made clear was NOT her decision), the fact remains that it’s just too soon for the other ladies to work with someone who deceived them so much.
With Monica’s departure, host Jay Jurden asked Lisa who she’d want on the show next. And Lisa didn’t hold anything back. Some of her dream castmates include Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie, and even Victoria “Posh” Spice, who, according to Lisa, has the benefit of a hot husband.
“Jennifer Lawrence should have a seat in every franchise,” Lisa said immediately. “I’d love to see Angelina Jolie as a mom and a housewife. She could be so amazing. And oh my gosh, Victoria Beckham! And David feeding the chickens? I could watch that all day.” Quite!
