Ariana Madix has officially made her debut on Broadway, taking on the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago. She’s already had rave reviews, and was supported by both friends and fans in the crowd. One surprise coming out of the night, though, was the absence of her bestie, Katie Maloney. So why wasn’t Katie at Ariana’s opening night? There’s a very good reason.
Katie couldn’t attend Ariana’s opening night due to illness
Katie took to her Instagram Stories to send Ariana her well wishes from afar. She also opened up about why she didn’t attend Ariana’s Chicago opening night on Broadway, while chatting on the Disrespectfully podcast she co-hosts with former Vanderpump Rules star, Dayna Kathan. Katie has COVID, and so has taken to quarantining in a bid not to spread the disease.
Fortunately, Ariana had plenty of support. Other co-stars such as Scheana Shay and Lala Kent showed up, along with countless fans. She received an incredible response from those who went to watch the show, and her first stage door exit is a real sight to behold.
As Ariana’s star is on the rise, Tom Sandoval continues to plunge to fresh depths. Now, he’s too important to turn up to a podcast on time. Even when said podcast is hosted by a supposed friend.
Rachel Leviss, with whom he had an affair, has also accused him of “fooling” her on the first night they slept together. Should we expect anything less?
Hopefully, he’ll have the least amount of screen time when Pump Rules returns tonight. Sadly, we’re expecting some shitty attempts at rehabbing his image, after he failed to do so on Special Forces.
