Since the news about Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss became public, the cast of Vanderpump Rules has been on everybody’s lips. Although the reason they became overnight sensations was heartbreaking for Ariana Madix, it was a free promo for the show, and let’s face it, they LOVED it.
Lala Kent made a fortune off her merch line. Scheana Shay laughed to the bank after her podcast listeners increased. Ariana got deal after deal, plus a Broadway check. And Tom Sandoval, well, he was one of the first to get booted from both projects he joined: The Masked Singer and Special Forces.
I, for one, was not excited about hearing a flat Sandoval competing with greats like Macy Gray and Keyshia Cole while staying hidden under a costume. However, Andy Cohen was!

Another familiar Bravo face on the latest season of The Masked Singer was superfan Michael Rapaport. He appeared on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, where he talked about working with the disgraced reality star. Later in the conversation, Andy admitted he was happy to see Tom finally “cash in” on Scandoval like the rest of his cast mates.
“I was glad when Tom finally got to cash in on this thing with The Masked Singer and [Special Forces],” he explained. “I was glad, and I hope that Rachel can cash out on it somehow.”
In addition to other TV shows and partnerships, the entire cast of VPR received massive pay bumps for the new season. After the Season 10 finale was seen by a record-breaking four million viewers when it premiered in 2023, and their TWO Emmy nominations, it only makes sense they get a piece of Karen Huger’s pie.
