After watching Gizelle Bryant on The Real Housewives of Potomac for eight seasons and counting, we know that the only people who can really get her together are her daughters. Whether it’s about her dating choices or her fashion sense, Adore, Angel, and Grace are always ready to humble their mother. Unfortunately, Ashley Darby has now found herself in their crosshairs.
On RHOP Season 8, Episode 11, Gizelle and Ashley announced their new athleisure line, GnA. Gizelle said they wanted their line to be a cross between Lululemon and Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty. However, in a deleted scene, it looks like Gizelle’s daughters aren’t super impressed with what GnA has to offer.
Gizelle’s daughters give an honest review
In a sneak peek for RHOP Season 8, Episode 12, the GnA duo meet up with Robyn Dixon and Mia Thornton to shop for fabrics and brainstorm the “problems” they’re going to “solve” with their athleisure brand. During the clip, they showed a clip of Gizelle and Ashley Facetiming with Gizelle’s daughters to pitch the athleisure concept. The girls weren’t thrilled.
“So … how about GnA?” Gizelle asked. One of the twins replied, “What is this, preschool?!”
Ashley and Gizelle laughed off the criticism, and Ashley quipped, “They are brutal!”
Gizelle agreed that they’re the worst, but at least they’re honest. GnA doesn’t necessarily roll off the tongue. Although Gizelle and Ashley went fabric shopping and discussed having lace, mesh, and rhinestones in their clothing line, their website shows nothing of the sort.
Unlike other Housewives, the GnA website is actually working, so we’ll give them that. It’s just very clear that the clothes that are available for sale don’t align with what Gizelle and Ashley are talking about on RHOP. The clothing line is definitely not giving Lululemon or Savage X Fenty. It’s more of a K-Mart vibe. Either way, we’ll be tuning into RHOP to see it unfold, and if anything, watch Gizelle’s daughters drag her.
