In this day and age, Instagram can be a telling resource about someone’s life and relationships. This is why Morgan Wade suddenly scrubbing her page of all her posts, including photos of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, made everyone speculate a falling out between the two.
After all, that’s how rifts happen in the age of social media. Removing posts or unfollowing can be the deathbed of relationships. In this situation, though, that’s not the case. It’s less about problems between the two and more about marketing.
New music in the works
According to TMZ sources, everything is all good between the pals, and Morgan just archived all her posts except two, and all the ones with Kyle, ahead of releasing new music. This often happens in entertainment, and celebrities have been known to use their IG platforms in unique ways for market promotions, including removing all other existing posts.
So, it would seem that Morgan is focusing on her new marketing strategy and removing all traces of Kyle and some fans were quick to notice. It’s always important not to jump to conclusions.
Kyle’s posts are still up
For what it’s worth, Kyle still has her posts with Morgan up (10 of them at the last count), although they are tucked inconspicuously away in IG photo carousels, so unless fans go through all the photos in the carousels, they’d miss them.
It’s safe to assume that there is no rift between them, and they are still good friends. And maybe more than that, some fans are assuming.
For her part, Kyle said that she was willing to talk about her relationship with Morgan and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, at the RHOBH reunion.
Guess we’ll find out more then.
