Below Deck Season 11 is nearly here, and Jill Zarin is about to join the cast! Misleading intros aside, Below Deck has a history of bringing in Bravolebrities to be charter guests.
More often than not, if a Bravo star from another franchise appears on Below Deck, it’s a Housewife. It’s generally a surefire way to attract viewers to a season of Below Deck while also enacting cross-promotion for the network.
For example, Captain Kerry Titheradge already crossed paths with one Housewife back on Below Deck Adventure. Now, coming in for Below Deck Season 11, he’s about to meet a Real Housewives of New York alum.
Fraser calls Jill Zarin a demanding Below Deck guest
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Captain Kerry and Fraser Olender teased the upcoming Season 11. When discussing the guests shown in the trailer, Captain Kerry said, “What you’ve seen are the tamest guests we’ve had. When I saw the trailer, I’m like, ‘Come on, man!’ So much more to come.”
Among the guests who weren’t so tame was, of course, Jill Zarin, whom Fraser labeled the “most difficult” guest of the season with non-stop demands. It almost seems too on-the-nose that a Housewives star would be demanding and entitled, nevertheless, here we are.
In discussing the trailer and filming further, Fraser said, “There is so much drama. I remember filming it in the field and thinking, ‘Surely, we have enough now to wrap up this season and get some production on it,’ but no, it just kept going.”
Despite any difficulties, Captain Kerry was confident that fans would love the season. As he explained, “I came to St. David, the biggest yacht in Below Deck history, the third captain of a franchise to drive the boat, with an amazing chief stew and we just rocked it.”
Below Deck Season 11 premieres tonight, Monday, February 5, at 9/8c on Bravo.
