Despite their beef in the past, Kenya Moore said she’d be open to Porsha Williams‘ future return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“I think we made great TV together. You know, I think we’re the best frenemies. Some of the best times on that show have been created with me and Porsha,” Kenya told Page Six. “Some of the most iconic moments have been created with us being onscreen together. So I feel like that magic could still exist if she comes back.”
There’s been a lot of chatter surrounding casting for the upcoming season of RHOA. Following an unfavorable last few years, producers hope to get it right for their Sweet 16. Porsha and Kenya are rumored to be among the returning veterans. At the same time, fans are still waiting for news about newbies Drew Sidora, Sanya Richards-Ross, and Marlo Hampton. RHOA 16: Casting is getting on well
By now, you’ve likely already heard the news that Kandi Burruss, the franchise’s longest-running Housewife, wouldn’t return for the next installment of the series, pointing to her desire to try other projects. “I decided I’m not coming back this year,” she revealed at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. “It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, but during that time, I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those things.”
Kandi’s departure saddens Kenya, Andy Cohen, and the rest of the Bravoverse. However, the former Miss USA is confident Bravo’s cast announcement should arrive “pretty soon.”
Today, Andy hopped on his radio show to address Kandi’s sudden exit, what that means for the future of the beloved Bravo series, and where they stand with casting today.
“By the way, now that we know Kandi is leaving, that also allows us to put other puzzle pieces together and figure out, ‘Okay, well, you know, where do we go here?'” Andy said. “I do want to say I’m not announcing anything, but we are on it, and the casting is superb.”
