Ashley Darby is addressing the romance rumors with Family Karma star Brian Benni. The pair’s special connection started during a Watch What Happens Live appearance in early 2023. When Brian took part in a shady game hosted by Andy Cohen, the then 28-year-old (who’s been searching for a soulmate) told the Bravo patriarch which of his fellow Bravolebs he had a thing for.
In addition to former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, Vanderpump Rules‘ firecracker Lala Kent, and the Ice Queen herself, Erika Jayne, the Winter House alum also admitted he had the hots for Little Miss Ashley.
And because she’s known for spilling it all, Ashley gave Andy and the rest of the Bravoverse an update regarding her relationship with Brian during her most recent WWHL appearance.
Love is in the Bravo air
“Brian is a very good friend,” Ashley replied to a guest asking about the status of her relationship with Brian. She explained that they had a great time partying and taking “shots of 1842 together” after their first WWHL taping in January 2023. They even shared a “kiss on the cheek.”
“And that’s where it ended,” she finished.
Although disappointing for Brian, the reality star attempted to bounce back quickly. During his most recent run on Season 3 of Winter House, he expressed his interest in Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard star Jordan Emanual.
Despite getting friend-zoned there as well, Brian eventually connected with another housemate, Casey Craig — whom he bonded with over their shared interest in traditional family values and their jobs in the tech field.
Brian’s most recent shot at love was during BravoCon with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s own Monica Garcia. “I wouldn’t say I shot my shot, [but] I think there was an interaction,” he said.
“It was brief [and] friendly.”
