Maybe the right partner can change everything. Ariana Madix often mentioned her reluctance to have children when she was with Tom Sandoval. The nearly decade long relationship ended in March 2023 when his affair with Rachel Leviss was unearthed. Clearly, the Something About Her co-owner was not with the right person.
But she feels differently about starting a family with her current boyfriend, NYC-based personal trainer, Daniel Wai. The VPR favorite dished on her change of heart during a recent episode of the hit reality TV show.

On the February 6 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana revealed just how secure she’s feeling in the relationship. And, how her views on family may have changed.
“He’s the first person that I’ve met that I’m actually like, ‘Oh, is that what that would be like?'” the Chicago star told Lala Kent during the episode. “I just think he’s opened my mind and opened my eyes to a lot of different possibilities that I could not see.”
“In retrospect, Tom being my partner affected my feelings on having kids a lot more than I thought it did,” she explained in a confessional interview. “I feel like with Dan, I’ve kinda had my eyes opened to the fact that there are different types of partners out there who would actually be a real 50/50 partner. Or if I can only give 10 percent that day, he’s ready to give 90.”
The contrast between Ariana’s feelings now about motherhood are striking. She’s got her guard down, it seems.
Currently, the VPR star is living in NYC during her run on Broadway. But there is the issue of a long-term living arrangement before she and Daniel can take the next step. Ariana still shares the house that she bought with Sandoval in Valley Village, and the situation hangs over the couple.
