Bravo and Erika Jayne’s new documentary, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde, is less than a month away. Now, Bravo dropped a dramatic preview. 2023 was a big year for Erika, giving her the chance to return to the stage for a song and dance show.
Her Las Vegas residency, also named Bet It All on Blonde, received mixed reviews and was plagued with rumors from those who weren’t fans of Erika by any means. Unfortunately for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, that wasn’t all that made 2023 eventful.
Last year also saw Erika’s estranged husband, Tom Girardi, facing some legal consequences for the allegations of embezzlement directed at him. With the show, news of Tom, and more weighing on Erika’s mind, the story made sense as a documentary undertaking by Bravo.
Tom’s effect on Erika’s life: “The fallout is great”
On February 7, Bravo posted the trailer for the Bet It All on Blonde documentary. The teaser saw Erika in a barrage of rehearsals before showing her seated on the floor, saying, “Nothing is making me happy.” Other sources of drama included Erika struggling with her lyrics and being “over budget.” Of course, it wasn’t just the show itself weighing on Erika’s mind.
“Tom’s behavior was bad for three years,” she said. “The sh*t this man did. The fallout is great.” She added, “His family, he hurt them too.” Tensions behind the scenes continued rising as Erika could not keep Tom out of her mind. The news around Tom affected Erika’s ability to perform, with the show’s producer growing increasingly frustrated.
The trailer crescendoed into a crowd chanting Erika’s name as she rose onto the stage. Bravo described the doc as “the lead-up to Jayne’s show-stopping Las Vegas debut, set against the backdrop of a deeply personal narrative that sees her take the biggest gamble yet when she bets it all on herself.”
Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde premieres Wednesday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and will stream the next day on Peacock.
