Jennifer Pedranti is officially a second-year Bravo star. Not because she’s in the opening credits of Real Housewives of Orange County, but because she’s being sued for unpaid rent.
Legal woes are a rite of passage for Bravolebs. It seems like judicial issues or jail come with the territory once one reaches moderate fame. For some reality TV personalities, you aren’t even a real star until you stop paying your taxes or commit wire fraud. Now Jenn is on the receiving end of her own fancy papers from someone else’s lawyer. Radar has the scoop.
Lesson #1, pay your bills
Jenn and her partners in crime, allegedly, are being sued for not paying rent on a yoga studio. This is probably the most Orange County thing you will hear about today. Legal docs show the Plaza El Paseo Center is suing Jennifer and her estranged husband! Also taking the hit are two business partners, David and Lisa Riemann.
Jenn and her business buds run Devi Rebel Yoga out of the Plaza El Paseo Center in Santa Margarita, California. Back in November 2019, the spot was rented out and Jennifer paid a deposit of $18,300. Per the landlord, the existing lease has been amended twice since 2019.
The deal states Jenn would pay $4651 for the first six months of rent. It would increase to $9k for the remaining 7 -12 months and continue to go up. The lawsuit states, “On November 1, 2023, and continuing thereafter, Defendants, and each of them, failed to pay the rent obligations due and owing under the Lease in full on time.”
Devi Rebel Yoga are … true rebels I guess because they are accused of not complying with a “notice to pay or quit served” in February 2023 “demanding the payment … of then-unpaid rents due under the lease.” The landlord further states the rent was at $9875 monthly when Jenn allegedly stopped paying.
The Plaza El Paseo Center would like approximately $133k from Jenn and her friends for their troubles. At this time Jennifer has not acknowledged the lawsuit.
