At last, the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 cast has been revealed. To the surprise of no one, the Season 8 couples are as controversial as ever!
Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda will be returning for their third consecutive season, to the dismay of many viewers. They will be joined by Ed Brown and Liz Woods, who are another highly controversial couple in the franchise. Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi will also be returning, along with Loren Brovarnik and Alexei Brovarnik.
Nicole Sherbiny and Mahmoud El Sherbiny will also be returning, after Nicole’s abrupt exit from Egypt. Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise will continue exploring married life, as will their previous 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 co-stars Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone.
Gino & Jasmine
Gino and Jasmine will be returning to viewers’ screens once again after their current run on 90 Day Fiancé Season 10. After getting married, Gino and Jasmine will continue to work through their issues. The HEA Season 8 trailer teases more turbulence for the couple, which even threatens to send Jasmine back to Panama!
TLC made an interesting decision casting Gino and Jasmine yet again, as viewers are getting fed up with their repetitive drama. The couple will really need to improve their toxic relationship to get back in the good graces of fans.
Big Ed & Liz
Ed and Liz are returning for their second season of Happily Ever After? after moving to Arkansas together. HEA Season 8 will follow the couple as they decide whether or not to get married while facing more issues in their relationship.
Viewers may be confused as to why Ed and Liz have been cast, as it seems pretty definite that the two have now broken up. Liz has soft-launched a new man on social media, and it seems that Ed has moved on as well. Hopefully, we will get some clarity on this by the end of the season!
Angela & Michael
Angela and Michael will also be returning for another season of HEA, although their storyline will be different this time around. The trailer teases Michael finally going to the embassy to check on his spousal visa, while Angela is with him in Nigeria. Will this finally be the season that we get to see Michael come to America?
There were previously rumors that Angela had been fired from TLC, which this seems to disprove. Fans have not yet seen the last of Angela and Michael, so it will be interesting to see what this season brings for them!
Loren & Alexei
Loren and Alexei are an interesting addition to HEA Season 8, although a random one as well. During Season 8, the couple will navigate parenthood with three small children, as their daughter Ariel celebrates her first birthday.
While Loren and Alexei are not as controversial as some of the other couples, they are usually pretty boring to watch. Their storyline is always pretty repetitive, so it is unlikely that they will add much substance to the season.
Nicole & Mahmoud
Mahmoud and Nicole will be reunited in America this season after spending their entire marriage in Egypt. Nicole hopes that Mahmoud living in America will save their relationship, although the trailer teases some serious difficulties for the couple. At one point, Nicole is shown trying to track down Mahmoud after he runs away with her phone. Yikes!
While Nicole and Mahmoud are a controversial couple, their drama is arguably more entertaining to watch than many of the other couples. Hopefully, they will add some spice to the season while also working on their relationship.
Emily & Kobe
Emily and Kobe were a controversial couple on 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, although they have grown on viewers since then. The couple will travel to Kobe’s home country of Cameroon this season so that Emily can meet his family for the first time. With their two kids, Koban and Scarlet, in tow, however, that may prove to be a challenge!
Despite being problematic during their first season, Emily and Kobe soared in popularity with viewers after appearing on Pillow Talk. Hopefully they can continue to do so on Happily Ever After? Season 8!
Patrick & Thaís
Patrick and Thaís are the final couple joining Happily Ever After? Season 8, where they will be doing some traveling as well. Patrick will travel with Thaís to Brazil, where he will meet her parents. Thaís’ dad was originally unaware of the couple’s plan to marry, so Patrick is worried about how the trip will go. To add to the stress, Patrick’s opinionated brother, John McManus, will also be coming along for the ride.
Patrick and Thaís are one of the more likable couples from the cast this season, despite having their ups and downs. Hopefully all goes well in Brazil, so that their relationship can continue to thrive!
