Andy Cohen has a reason to smile with Porsha Williams Guobadia’s return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The powerhouse reality star announced her return in an Instagram video on February 13, saying, “Who said that? Porsha Williams coming back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta? That’s false, but Porsha Guobadia is in the building. See ya,” before blowing a kiss.
On a recent episode of his radio show, SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, the Watch What Happens Live host spoke about Porsha’s grand return and what this means for the series moving forward. “I’m so excited about this. Y’all know that Porsha has had such an incredible journey on “The Housewives of Atlanta,” and when she left the show, it was great because she left,” he said.
“She was about to be married and start a new life, and she’s got PJ, and she’s got her man, and so it was cool that she left, took some time for herself.”

In Porsha’s official statement, she expressed her excitement about showcasing her new life as a married woman. Plus, the dynamic entertainer, seen in shows like Ultimate Girls Trip and Stars on Mars, will also appear in scripted work across NBC’s “broadcast and streaming properties.”
“She’s done so much. She’s accomplished so much. She comes back to us a more evolved Porsha, but yet the Porsha that we all love. She’s so funny. She’s such a bright light, and I’m just thrilled that she’s back,” Andy continued.
Other than Porsha and Kandi Burruss, who announced her departure in February, no other casting decisions have been made public. Kenya Moore and Shereé Whitfield have shared their feelings openly. But other peach holders, including Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross, have remained silent. However, Andy assured his listeners that the network is gearing up to make its big announcement soon.
“We’ve got some amazing new gals, and this is gonna feel, I’m feeling very positive about the new season of Atlanta, so just standby, and you will hear more,” he said. “I will say there’s a lot of rumors out there that are not true about what’s to come, and you’ll hear more when there’s something to be said, but we’re so excited, and we’ve kind of been doing a dance.”
