Monica Garcia left it all on the floor in her debut – and as of now, only – season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Perhaps the most notable internet troll of recent memory, it’s hard to know what her next move might be after her shocking Season 4 finale unveiling as one of the people behind the shady Reality Von Tease Instagram account.
Despite the RHOSLC cast not wanting to film with her again and being targeted by a litany of outraged fans, Monica only had good things to say about her experience with Bravo. It seems that mama doesn’t want to slam the door on any potential future network checks.
Monica Garcia: “I had a wonderful experience filming.”
On the February 13 episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast, Two Ts In A Pod, Monica spilled the tea on her dramatic exit from the televised circus that she clearly spent a ton of time and effort creating.
When asked if she’d consider returning, Monica didn’t hesitate. “Obviously, I would. I kind of feel like anyone that’s like, ‘No, I’m not coming back’ is lying.” Classic reality TV star speak for “I miss the drama.”
Given the current cast’s chilly reception thanks to Heather Gay blowing the whistle on Monica’s social media shenanigans, it would be almost impossible for her to jump back into the fray without anyone on her team. So, she’d like an ally or two.
Monica added, “I don’t think I could go back in this — like I would have to be friends with someone. I don’t think I could go back in this situation. I mean, I would.”
Monica waxed nostalgic about her time on RHOSLC, up until the finale turned sour. “I had a wonderful experience filming. Bravo is amazing. Production was great,” she reminisced, making it sound like a summer camp review rather than a stint on a show where she was unmasked as a conniving liar.
She also took a moment to shout out to Whitney Rose and Meredith Marks, the co-stars who apparently didn’t get the memo to completely shun her. “They were very kind to me. They were very good to me during filming.”
I’m sure we’ll see more of Monica somewhere in the not-too-distant future. Although her hypothetical Burn Book definitely wouldn’t make a best seller list, her skills could really come in handy on a show like The Traitors. We’ve all had an eye and earful of her mom, Linda “LD” Darnell. Attention-seeking villainy is in her blood!
You can stream Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on Peacock. Season 5 will likely premiere on Bravo later this year.
TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT MONICA DIDN’T HAVE ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT BRAVO? WILL SHE EVENTUALLY RETURN?
