If there’s one thing we know about Cynthia Bailey, it’s the fact that she loves to get married. We witnessed two of them on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and a recent Instagram video hinted at another. In a new post, Cynthia hinted at a secret wedding, which prompted a ton of confusion from fans. So, did Cynthia tie the knot again with a mystery man, or is something else going on here? Did Cynthia tie the knot again?
Of all days, Cynthia picked Valentine’s Day to spark speculation about a new romance. She wrote, “Every day I love you more.”
Her Instagram post showed a few cinematic shots of her putting on a wedding dress as a white Rolls Royce rolls up to a mansion. The clip ended as she and her groom walked away from the camera, arm in arm. Fireworks showered the seemingly happy couple, as Cynthia smiled at the camera.
Obviously, fans jumped in the comments trying to get some clarification. Did she replace Mike Hill already with a new guy? Had she been dating someone under the radar this whole time? Even other Bravolebrities seemed confused, and a bunch of them showered Cynthia with congratulatory words.
Quad Webb from Married to Medicine wrote, “Congrats my beautiful friend; you deserve all the love & happiness in the world!!!”
Cynthia’s former RHOA castmate Shereé Whitfield added, “Always a beautiful bride!
The truth behind Cynthia’s post
Despite all of the fanfare and words of support, Cynthia clarified a few hours later that she didn’t marry some random man. This whole production turned out to be an ad for a car rental company called ATL Exotic And Luxury Cars. Whatever happened to writing #ad in the caption?
On Instagram, Cynthia uploaded a longer version of the video. The updated video had a watermarked logo from the car company along with more details making it clear that it was an ad. She wrote in the caption, “Thanks for all of the love! Watch until the end.”
So, while Cynthia didn’t get married again, she did have the world fooled with this little stunt. If you left her a comment congratulating her, it’s not too late to delete it. Hopefully, the check from ATL Exotic and Luxury Cars was worth it.
