Initially drawn to Hollywood by dreams of fame and fortune, many of the Vanderpump Rules cast have settled in suburbia. Scheana Shay is the latest to join the migration to the San Fernando Valley, otherwise known as “The Valley.”
The former SUR hostess and her hubby, Brock Davies, plunked down $2.5 million for their new Sherman Oaks 4000-square-foot two-story. That’s a lot of tip money.
But then, Scheana has always been “Good as Gold” with her finances. She also owns a home in Palm Springs.
A home for a family
Built in 2016, the house last sold that same year for $1.7 million. Dressed in the “modern farmhouse” style, the home mixes traditional design features with modern conveniences. While the outside is trimmed with wood and stone, the inside leans toward the more light and airy open living spaces that are perfect for entertaining.
The welcoming combination living room/dining room has wide-plank hardwood floors, a fireplace, and crown moldings. A central staircase leads upstairs, where four of the five bedrooms are located. The chef’s kitchen boasts a large island, a butler’s pantry, and commercial-grade appliances. A cozy family room adjoins the kitchen, with French doors opening onto a spacious patio.
While each of the five bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom, the master also has a cozy fireplace, a balcony, and a large walk-in closet. The modest backyard is hedged for privacy and has just enough space for a swimming pool/spa. There are also a couple of grassy areas where Scheana’s daughter Summer can play.
The home also has some high-tech features. There is a full-house sound system, an alarm system, and a security system with multiple surveillance cameras.
We’re sure to see Brock and Scheana’s new home at some point in a future episode of Pump Rules. It’s a beautiful home, and I wouldn’t blame her for wanting to show it off. Plus she’s only about six miles from Valley Village, so maybe she and Summer can have play dates with Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s son Cruz.
