Bethenny Frankel, the now disgruntled ex-Housewife, has come for THEE Kelendria (Kelly) Rowland after she walked out of Today.
“I’ve co-hosted with Hoda [Kotb], and I’ve arrived there, and the makeup area that you touch up in is often a drop cloth, like, a black drop off,” Bethenny said in a since-deleted TikTok video. “And then your dressing room is the size of a closet, and you’re trying to fit all your people in the clown car. And you know what? You’re so excited. You’re so gracious.”
Bethenny continued, saying, “You’re co-hosting on the Today Show, an institution in entertainment, a news organization that is not about fancy dressing rooms.” She finished, adding it’s an “honor” to be in the building and that it was “not the moment for diva expectations.”

B’s comments come after Page Six first reported Kelly left the Today Show before going on air because her dressing room wasn’t up to her standards. After requesting a bigger changing space upstairs, production reportedly notified her that it wasn’t available because Jennifer Lopez and her team were occupying the room.
“Kelly and her team were not happy. They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving [Kotb] without a guest host for the 10 a.m. hour,” the source said.
Later, Rita Ora confirmed in a post that she stepped in at the last minute to fill Kelly’s spot.
Fans react to Bethenny’s outrageous comparison
Bethenny is no stranger to sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong, but this time, she’s totally out of line. Kelly is a living legend, with more on her resumé than a few reality shows. She has Grammy Awards, chart-topping albums, and has performed in some of the most talked about events known to man. Hello Coachella. Hello, Super Bowl!
Anyway, many jumped in to defend the Destiny’s Child singer against Bethenny’s ludicrous comparison.
“First of all, Bethenny Frankel, you’re NOT Kelly Rowland, so, of course, you’d eat the crumbs off the ground if they asked you to,” one user wrote.
Another poster commented, adding, “For Bethenny to even think she is on a level remotely close enough to THE Kelly Rowland to have an opinion is crazy. Like girl, who are you?”
Of course, there were also those who agreed with Bethenny. Some took her side, and think Kelly should have sucked it up and got the job done.
For me, though? Moving forward, Bethenny, don’t comment on anything regarding any of Destiny’s Children. Their fandom does not play. And in my Phaedra Parks voice, “You ‘gon learn today.”
