Oh dear, it looks like someone might have to get … A JOB. NeNe Leakes’ son Bryson Bryant is facing a tough road ahead. Not only did he do time for fentanyl possession, now a woman who gave birth to his child wants, gasp, child support!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum had issues with Bryson while she was still on the show. Unfortunately, NeNe is still having issues with Bryson long after she left RHOA. That said, this is his problem, not Mommy’s and right now Bryson is begging for his support payments to be lowered. Radar has the details.
It might be time for Bryson to work?
Symone Davis has a child with Bryson and apparently, he isn’t providing financial support for the baby. In early February, Symone (government name Erin S. Davis) went after Bryson in a lawsuit alleging he has paid zero dollars of the $708 he owes monthly. The payments were set to begin on August 1, 2020.
Insiders say Bryson “asked” Symone to “lower his monthly payments” but according to Symone, $708 was already bottom of the barrel and said “the court has already put it as low as it can be.”
One source had some thoughts. “She should actually be raising the amount,” they said. At first, Bryson tried to deny the child was his, but he was declared the bio father in July 2020.
At this time, Bryson owes an impressive $29,736 and Symone wants him back in jail due to the default in payments. As for earning a paycheck, Symone states he is “able to perform what the Court ordered as to his child support obligations,” but his “refusal to do so is willful.” Additionally, this is why she wants him locked up.
Her lawsuit noted, “The Respondent should be held in contempt and incarcerated for failure to comply with the Court’s Order.” Bryson might not have money to put towards the child he created, but he managed to scrape together $6100 to get out of jail when he was busted for drug possession, loitering, and providing false information to law enforcement.
I guess Bryson might be heading back to his old room if he doesn’t start working this out. Stay tuned.
