The People’s Choice Awards just had their 2024 ceremony, and the entire cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rolled up looking like a million bucks. They all posed together on the red carpet—even Kathy Hilton was there. However, one full-time diamond holder was mysteriously missing, and that was Dorit Kemsley. Cue the conspiracy theories.
In Season 13, the world traveler and fashionista has been navigating some sticky moments, and tons of fans were suspicious that her absence was an indicator of her status with the rest of the cast. Were they trying to ice out Dorit? Not quite. Her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley took to Instagram to share an explanation about why Dorit didn’t walk the carpet with her fellow RHOBH stars.

Dorit eventually arrived on the red carpet and took solo pictures. Of course, she looked fabulous, but it still seemed odd that she wasn’t with the cast. After all, they were all nominated together as a cast for “Reality Show of the Year.” According to PK, she was absent from the group photo for a very on-brand reason. She was running late and getting her glam done.
“Dorit was a little late for the #peopleschoiceawards … as a result, she missed the cast photo … ‘she was in glam’ but I hope you will agree … it was worth the wait,” PK explained on Instagram, along with a picture of his wife.
Ultimately, it didn’t matter that Dorit was late to the show. She wound up outdressing most of her castmates, and RHOBH ended up losing their award to The Kardashians. Better luck next year, ladies.
