Jimmy Presnell, from the Netflix series Love Is Blind, is speaking all about his connection with his fiancée, Chelsea Blackwell.
The couple met each other during Season 6’s first batch of episodes, where they fell in love with each other in the pods while breaking two other contestant’s hearts in the process.
For Jimmy, things changed between him and Chelsea when they began speaking about their celebrity lookalikes. After revealing that he resembled the NFL great Christian McCaffery, Chelsea told Jimmy that people tell her she looks like Megan Fox. However, she quickly clarified that she doesn’t see it herself. Since then, it has become a trending topic on social media, with Chelsea adding her own context, but now, it’s Jimmy’s turn.
Jimmy is upset that he let Chelsea’s Megan Fox comment get him too excited
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jimmy discussed their conversation about their celebrity doppelgangers. “I don’t remember the Megan Fox comments being that big of a deal,” he said before saying it was “hard” rewatching the scene. “I mean, obviously my ears or my eyes perked up a lot when she said Megan Fox … But, God, I would have done everything to have that moment back.”
However, Jimmy defended Chelsea, saying that the conversation viewers watched was exactly how it happened in the pods. “They included every bit of how she worded it to me, so I think it’s my fault that I took it out of proportion a little bit,” he said.
“I spent so much time getting to know her emotionally. I’m so pissed off of myself for letting a comment like that make me that excited,” he continued.
Jimmy continued, explaining that he wouldn’t have talked about looks if he could do it again. “That wasn’t why we were there, and I mean, I don’t remember it being that much about looks when I went through it, but reliving it, it seems to be a lot about looks. So it’s a lot of heat from it.”
