The recent allegations consuming the Bravospehere have been extremely disheartening. Just moments after Real Housewives of New York star Leah McSweeney filed a federal lawsuit against Bravo on Tuesday night, Brandi Glanville entered the conversation.
“We are NOT expendable. We are strong women & even stronger together,” Brandi commented on Leah’s Instagram post. “Time to take our power back.”
The latest Real Housewives lawsuits
Leah’s bombshell lawsuit revealed shocking claims. Specifically, the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip cast member accused the network of creating a “rotted workplace culture.” It also stated the producers encourage alcohol consumption — even to those who may be struggling with addiction. The papers even claimed Leah was denied time to attend AA meetings as retaliation for not drinking on camera.
Her filing arrived days after Brandi accused Andy Cohen of sexual harassment. She claimed he called her “obviously inebriated” to ask if she wanted to watch him have sex with another Bravoleb. It’s since been revealed that the other person was The Traitors and Below Deck star Kate Chastain.
Andy addressed the claims publicly on X, formerly Twitter, shortly after, saying the video was “in jest.” However, he admitted to it being “inappropriate” and later apologized.
All of this comes after Real Housewives of New Jersey matriarch Caroline Manzo filed an explosive lawsuit against Bravo and a ton of its production companies tasked with making the (now missing) season of RHUGT. In it, she claimed Bravo and producers were allegedly responsible for creating and fostering an unsafe environment in which she was allegedly sexually harassed by Brandi.
The court documents read, “[Brandi] proceeded to mount Manzo on the couch holding Manzo down with her body, forcibly squeezed Manzo’s cheeks together and thrust her tongue in Manzo’s mouth, while humping her.”
A rep from Andy’s camp has called Leah’s claims “false.” We’ve certainly not heard the last of this.
