It’s an interesting situation when Rachel Leviss comments about the “manipulative” goings on of her ex-lover on her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue. She responds to news about Tom Sandoval both in real time, and with what is airing on Vanderpump Rules Season 11.
During the Tuesday, February 27 episode of her podcast, Rachel commented on recent comments made by Sandoval. In particular, tone-deaf ones about George Floyd.
Rachel is “trying to stay in reality”
The former Bravolebrity revealed Sandoval’s attempts at communicating with her while she seeking treatment at a voluntary mental health facility. Rachel called them nothing short of “manipulative.”
Sandoval had assumed he and Rachel would resume their tryst once she returned to LA. He was even living sober. But despite multiple phone calls, including to her publicist, Rachel blocked Sandoval from her life.
“She never even gave me any closure, it was really hard. It still messes with me,” he told The New York Times Magazine.
While Sandoval is all up in his victimhood, Rachel paints a picture of someone using tactics to get what wants.
“He was really trying to get me on the phone and said he had important info and he would only share it if I was on the phone,” she said on her podcast. “Obviously that’s manipulative and that conversation was wild, but I didn’t respond because I’m trying to stay in reality and I know his priorities are the show.”
“It even got so confusing for me when I was hanging out with him,” Rachel added of their time together.
She went on to suggest that fans are becoming more perceptive to how being on Vanderpump Rules has “affected Tom and his reality.”
“Now they’re saying like, ‘Oh, Tom should take a year off. He needs to process through this,’ and I’m like, yeah, people like that’s why I didn’t come back,” Rachel explained. “But I think other people are starting to see that too.”
