Jessica Vestal might not have found love with her Love Is Blind Season 6 costar, Jimmy Presnell, but she could’ve found something special with someone else.
The reality star chatted with Nick Viall on his podcast, The Viall Files, late last week and said she formed another “strong connection” with a contestant on the show. “I’m still trying to sort certain things out,” she said. Even though Jess didn’t give any names, she did describe the typical type of man she’d go after.
“I have a super specific type,” she explained. “Like, extremely tall, like at least 6’2”. At least. Well, I’m saying because most of my exes are like 6’4”, 6’5”. Beard. Beard. Always a beard. I prefer tattoos, but like, like a sleeve. But if they don’t have it, I might be OK with that. Just like, tall dark and handsome.” She continued: “You could probably use context clues if you looked at the cast,” Jessica said. “But I can’t say any names because I’m still trying to sort some things out. I’ve learned to hold my cards closer to my chest with stuff like that.” Hmm — hello, Ariel Gomerez? (All speculation, of course.)
Jess said she “dodged a bullet” by not ending up with Jimmy
Fans fell in love with Jess during the latest season of Love Is Blind after Jimmy broke her heart before the end of the experiment. She was praised for her epic scene where she told the Netflix star he’d need an EpiPen when he realized what he missed out on with her. But now, she’s the one happy to be out.
“I did feel like I dodged a bullet [with Jimmy], and I knew that he wasn’t my person, but there was an equal amount of, oh my God, this is the person I just fell in love with like two weeks ago or three weeks ago. And he knows more about me than most humans walking this planet,” she explained. “So, I felt like a connection, but not a connection [as] far as ‘I want to be with him’ or I’m wondering what could have been.”
The next episode in Season 6 drops on Netflix this Wednesday, and watchers are dying to know what happens between Jimmy and his fiancee Chelsea Blackwell. The pair have had some explosive fights since connecting out of the pods, but Jess felt her ex made the right decision.
“He made it known that he felt like he made the right decision and he was excited to be marrying Chelsea. I didn’t get the thought that he was wishing it had been me,” she said in an earlier interview.
