Rachel Leviss ‘Pleasantly Surprised’ by Dog’s Reunion With James Kennedy on Pump Rules

The dog that Rachel Leviss got while she and James Kennedy were dating has become an honorary Vanderpump Rules member. Hippie, formerly known as Graham Cracker, became a central point of this season’s narrative, earlier than expected.

Lisa Vanderpump reunited the dog with James. This, while Rachel left town to stay in a mental health facility. While Rachel had put Graham in the care of her family, he had proven to be too aggressive to keep around. And when he was put with a foster family, he bit a few times, before being dropped off at a shelter.

But the heartwarming reunion between James and Hippie was just featured on Pump Rules. Despite being anxious about what she was going to see, Rachel was left surprised. And with a theory about what went down.

Rachel thinks the dog reunion scene with James was potentially “reshot”

The former VPR star claimed that the dog was a biter, and as a result, was surrendered to a vetted foster home. Meanwhile, Rachel worried that LVP was going to claim he was given to a kill shelter.

On the February 27 episode of Rachel Goes Rogue, Rachel doubled-down on having left Hippie in good hands. She was anxious to see the scene between James and Lisa play out, hoping that her name had not been dragged into it and to see how her former boss portrayed Hippie’s rescue on camera.

“When Lisa gave the dog to James, she never said my name. She didn’t say that story that was put out in the press. Of me surrendering my dog to a kill shelter. And it was hours away of being euthanized,” Rachel reacted. “And I thought that was very interesting because I was like, ‘Oh. This isn’t what I thought it was going to be.’ And I’m pleasantly surprised. And I’m a little bit relieved. Because I don’t have to worry about more death threats and death wishes.”

However, it’s not all good feelings from Rachel’s side. The former beauty pageant contestant suspects that the scene was filmed again to present a more neutral storyline.

She believed that the “scene was reshot so that [Vanderpump] could backtrack.”

But as the former SUR server can’t be sure, Rachel presented an alternative. No less lacking in her feeling that Lisa has an agenda against her.

“Or if that was the original [scene] — she just let those rumors run rampant. Because it was, like, propaganda to make me look like this ultimate villain,” Rachel added.
