Forget “Class with the Countess;” lately we’ve had a front row seat to “Courting with the Countess!” These days, Luann de Lesseps’ dating life is almost impossible to keep abreast of, and her new man might be none other than Olivier Sarkozy.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum and Southern Charm’s Joe Bradley had “chemistry” back in January after a joint Watch What Happens Live appearance. Last week, she revealed that she went on a date with an older, successful model. And, now she was just seen with Olivier. His name might sound familiar. He’s a wealthy French banker who also happens to be Mary Kate Olsen’s ex-husband.

Luann and Olivier went for lunch and a stroll
Luann and Olivier are stirring up speculation about a possible budding romance following an NYC lunch date.
The pair were seen leaving the swanky restaurant Le Bilboquet in Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Monday. They left the restaurant and walked arm-in-arm while sporting broad grins in the photos shared by the Daily Mail.
Luann, 58, sported a chic c’est la vie ensemble. She donned a cropped red fur jacket over a black sweater, paired with leather pants and black high-heeled boots. She accessorized with a black cross-body purse, sunglasses, and chunky silver rings. Meanwhile, 54-year-old Olivier – who’s also the half-brother of former president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy – opted for a gray suede jacket. It was layered over a blue half-zip sweater, paired with black pants.
Olivier was married to Mary Kate for five years before she filed for divorce in 2020. It got pretty ugly and messy in a “rich people problems” type of way before they settled in 2021. He hasn’t been linked with anyone since. But, Luann must have a certain je ne sais quoi.
Is Luann’s plentiful public gallivanting genuine, or could it be because she’s promoting her new career endeavors and cabaret show, “Marry, F, Kill?” At any rate, she sure has been busy.
It’s too bad that Luann will probably be cavorting with someone else by next week; Olivier could’ve been a perfect match. He’s age appropriate, and she could whip out her fluent-but-pretentious French for him to her heart’s content. And, money may not be able to buy class, but Olivier’s wallet sure couldn’t hurt!
