Tom Sandoval has been accused of some awful things, but Lala Kent’s recent accusations around Rachel Leviss may just take the cake. On last night’s Vanderpump Rules episode, Lala accused Tom of having groomed Rachel.
While grooming is a term that usually refers to taking advantage of vulnerable minors, grooming can technically happen to anyone at any age. When Lala accused Tom of grooming, she suggested that he cut her off from others and exploited her emotional state.

Lala demands Tom apologize for hypocrisy before claiming he “grooms” Rachel
On the March 5 episode of Pump Rules, Lala and Tom got into a heated argument during the Lake Tahoe trip. During the spat, Lala admitted that she’d begun sympathizing with Rachel after the Season 10 reunion. During the reunion, Rachel admitted she would have “nobody” if she didn’t “fall in line with Sandoval.”
As such, Lala told Tom, “You isolate. You groom. You lie,” further confessing: “I do not want to know you. You are scary.” The argument was brought on by Tom’s past comments about Lala never being “honest.” Lala turned that point around on him, saying he was the one who’d hidden his affair for all of seven months. She hoped Tom might apologize for his hypocrisy.
He did not. Instead, he said in a confessional, “I did lie about a seven-month relationship. Lala lied for a few years of a six-year relationship.” Tom was implying that Lala had been with Randall Emmett before he finalized his divorce from his previous wife. He added, “We both lied. We are both liars. I think in this instance we both just call this a wash.”
Lala went on to call Tom “insane” and “terrifying.” She added, “It is all you have on me. You will not allow me to evolve. But yet this happened four months ago and I am allowing you to evolve.”
