Chelsea Blackwell admitted to being hit “out of left field” when her ex-fiancee, Jimmy Presnell, broke things off with her ahead of their wedding day on Love Is Blind.
According to People, she wasn’t expecting their split “at all.” She assumed they were in “such a good spot going into that date.”
“We did so much work on our relationship and we were just in the most amazing spot we could have been in, I thought,” she said. “So that whole conversation … I was definitely taken aback.” If you haven’t seen the latest episode, Jimmy called things off right after Chelsea spilled her heart out to him. He claimed it was due to a lack of “trust” when she revealed one of his deepest “darkest secrets.”

Although her breakup with Jimmy was disappointing, it was expected. The pair seemed to fight in almost every scene they had together. Chelsea was upset that Jimmy waited until after their date at an amusement park to end things. However, she’s happy their split was captured there rather than at the altar.
“He was very concerned about [that]. He was very vocal with me the whole time, and he just really did not want my family to travel and my friends to waste their time and come out there if he knew for sure he was going to say no,” she said. “So I think he was just more thinking of wasting my family’s time, wasting my time, and just wanted to do it as soon as he had his solidified answer.”
Later, during her conversation, Chelsea admitted to feeling some “regret” about revealing the secret that Jimmy slept with one of his close female friends. This argument ultimately led to their split.
Did Chelsea cross a line with Jimmy?
“I definitely do regret bringing it up on camera,” she said. “That was something that he made very clear he didn’t want [to be] exposed to the world, but in reality, this is my relationship, these are our issues, and I’m really sitting with this issue that I am not allowed to bring up at certain times, and that’s not fair.”
In addition to that, there may have been difficulties filming with Jimmy since he wanted to keep certain things private. “He was just very concerned about how he looked and how he was portrayed, and I just didn’t — clearly, I just didn’t give two craps,” she said.
