One of the unexpected breakout stars of Vanderpump Rules Season 11 was Tom Sandoval’s assistant, Ann Maddox. With Tom and Ariana Madix living in the same house but not on speaking terms, a middleman became necessary.
Fans grew to love Ann because, by all accounts, she seemed like a normal person caught up in the storm of audacious reality TV personalities. Ann provided comedy, levity, and relatability to VPR.
Eventually, reports confirmed that Ann was no longer working for Tom. Rumors then began popping up that she’d instead taken a job as Ariana’s assistant. Now, Ariana has finally come out and addressed the rumor herself.
Does Ariana regret her treatment of Ann?
On Watch What Happens Live, Ariana and Andy Cohen got to discussing Ann, with Ariana saying, “I love Ann so much.” Andy asked Ariana to confirm the rumors of whether Ann was now working as her assistant. “No, I don’t have an assistant,” Ariana said. “But there will be some developments,” she teased.
“More Ann news coming up?” Andy asked, which Ariana could verify. Later, Andy asked if, while watching things back, Ariana regretted putting Ann in precarious situations. “I don’t think so,” she responded. “I went no contact with him for very good reasons. And there are just certain things that had to be worked out.”
As for the last time she spoke with Tom, Ariana confirmed that a true face-to-face conversation hadn’t taken place since the reunion. When asked about her living situation, Ariana said she couldn’t comment due to the legal situation surrounding the house. However, she shared that she had no regrets about “digging her heels in when it came to the house,” as Andy put it.
