The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 4 was the perfect swan song for the OG ladies on Real Housewives of New York. Here, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Sonja Morgan, and Kristen Taekman all reunited in St. Barts. And yes, this is the same spot the ladies traveled to during RHONY Season 5. Also yes, another pirate appeared, though it was the villa’s sous chef who earned Luann’s booty this time.
The last time that we saw Luann, Sonja, and Ramona all filming together was on RHONY Season 13. This was this series’ final cast before Bravo’s reboot took hold. As for the others, Dorinda exited after Season 12, while Kelly filmed from Seasons 2 to 4. For her part, Kristen only appeared in Seasons 6 and 7.
Hear us out. Ramona is still problematic. A few of the others have also reached their reality television expiration dates. Yet, RHUGT Season 4 worked, and now that it’s over, we feel like we’ve successfully been able to say goodbye to this cast.
Could a legacy season work for other cities across this franchise? We think yes. Several cities have either been canceled or lost multiple cast members, so we’d love to gain life updates, and just check in on these women once more. With that in mind, these are the other Real Housewives franchises that we now feel deserve a RHUGT: Legacy Season.
Real Housewives of Dallas
Real Housewives of Dallas was placed on an indefinite pause after Season 5. Basically, anti-Asian incidents were seen after Tiffany Moon joined the cast in Season 5, so Bravo pulled this series plug. The two main perpetrators of this were Brandi Redmond and another cast member.
Luckily, Brandi and Tiffany made amends. Tiffany explained at the Season 4 reunion that she didn’t think Brandi was racist, just perhaps a touch ignorant.
However, we loved the rest of this cast. They made mistakes, but they owned it. If this series is given an RHUGT: Legacy Season, we’d love to see D’Andra Simmons, Stephanie Hollman, Cary Deuber, Brandi, and Tiffany all return. As for why, Stephanie and Brandi had such a silly, lighthearted relationship, which made us laugh, while D’Andra’s business troubles alongside her mother were entertaining…mostly.
Cary is fun, but she phased herself out during Season 4, and we were only just learning about Tiffany before Dallas was placed on a shelf. That said, Tiffany has reappeared online, putting another medically trained Real Housewives star, Annemarie Wiley, in her place. We loved this, and now, we’d like to watch Cary and Tiffany again, or even, see this series get another chance entirely. Out of all of the cities though, we think that RHOD deserves a RHUGT: Legacy Season the most.
Real Housewives of Atlanta
The ladies on Real Housewives of Atlanta have had the best clapbacks over the years. They’re all chaotic, messy, witty, and fun. However, as this series has aired for 15 long seasons, this cast has turned over, several times. Yet, a few staple members remain, who we equal parts love and loathe.
Now, we deserve a season filled with quick barbs and hysterical reads, alongside hints of shade. Therefore, hear us out, as we are about to list the chaotic RHUGT: Legacy Season of our dreams now. NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss, and Shereé Whitfield need to reunite, stat. Nene, Kenya, Porsha, and Shereé would bring the wit and the shade, Kim would bring the drama and the wigs, and Kandi would just be there, calling out her costars’ antics as needed.
Perhaps NeNe and Kim could make peace, or, not. Either way, seeing these two ladies in the same room again would be entertaining, if you ask us. Also, with this many funny women in one setting, the memes would write themselves. Therefore, these ladies on RHOA deserve a RHUGT: Legacy Season.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has had a lot of dark seasons. It also has the highest number of gang-ups and annoying storylines, as the Fox Force Five reigned for far too long. Yet, the first season was amazing, despite the drama seen between sisters Kim and Kyle Richards. Therefore, we’d like to bring back all of the OG’s, because we deserve nice things.
To recap, Season 1’s entire cast consists of Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof, Camille Grammer, Taylor Armstrong, Kim, and Kyle. When not arguing, these ladies were hysterical. If given the chance, we know they’d all deliver once again.
In Season 1, Camille delivered amusing, “pernicious” lines, while Kim and Taylor held mini-side fights during larger fights. Their put-downs were always ridiculous, and we’d love to hear them sparring again. Lisa and Kyle’s friendship could even be repaired because when trapped together in a huge villa, anything can happen. Rounding out this cast would be Adrienne, who was unproblematic and rich, and could help to bridge the gap between Kyle and Lisa.
Overall, RHOBH Season 1 was the most iconic Real Housewives season ever. Even still, to round out a possible spin-off cast, we’d throw in Season 4’s Carlton Gebbia, because she gets underneath Kyle’s skin like no one we’ve ever seen. If we can make this happen, then we do not doubt that the cast of RHOBH will produce an epic RHUGT: Legacy Season.
