If you have watched the conclusion of Season 6, then you probably saw Sarah Ann Bick and Jeramey Lutinski trot out on stage and profess their love for one another, solidifying their roles as the villains of Season 6.
The duo confirmed that after the cameras went down for Season 6, the two of them started dating. At the time of the reunion, Sarah Ann confessed that they had been together for about a year. They’re in it for the long run. Plus, they made it very clear that there were zero regrets about how things went down in the pods.
Instead, they’re focused on their future, and in an interview with Page Six, Sarah Ann confirmed that they plan on walking down the aisle.
Will Sarah Ann and Jeramey marry?
If Jeramey and Sarah Ann had properly matched up on Love Is Blind, the show would have encouraged them to tie the knot at the end of the “experiment.” Since these two coupled up off camera, they said they’re looking forward to getting married outside of Netflix’s command.
“We’ve definitely talked about marriage. It’s something that we both are still wanting to do, but we want it to be on our terms,” Sarah explained.
When filming wrapped, Sarah Ann said she and Jeremy had to come together to discuss their next steps. Should they “put a ring on it,” or take a minute to be normal? Ultimately, they chose to slow things down and take some time to get to know each other. They moved in together, and are working through their relationship together.
“We both decided for ourselves it was better to take the opportunity to get to know each other and just really dive into that real-life relationship. We’re so grateful for that,” Sarah Ann shared.
Navigating the backlash together
Of course, Sarah Ann and Jeramey’s real-life relationship hasn’t been without its hiccups. No relationship is perfect, but the added scrutiny of their messy on-screen matchup has added extra tension. Sarah Ann said they’ve both gotten a ton of online hate because of their actions in Season 6, and that has caused tension between the two. Still, they’re pushing forward together and have no regrets about how they wound up together.
“I don’t want to speak for Jeramey, but I live with him, I know him well. And just based off of our relationship, it does take a toll at times,” Sarah Ann said of the Love Is Blind backlash. “But when you have a strong connection with someone, you fight for that person. And that’s what we do every day. We have to work through a lot.”
