In the Bravosphere, there is always an epic fight between good and evil. The premise of the angel and the villain has been a solid foundation for every Bravo series. In addition, the evil stepmother never seems to disappoint. However, some stars have gotten the toxic treatment a bit worse than others over the years.
Lexi Wilson
The stew was a little hell-raiser on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 and became enemy number on the yacht. After an eventful crew night out, Lexi Wilson came back intoxicated and ready for a fight. She couldn’t hold her tongue as she talked back to the chief stew and bosun, Malia White. She was ultimately fired for her verbal abuse of her fellow crew mates and altercation with Chef Mathew Shea.
However, Lexi called out Bravo producers for the bad edit. Lex noted she should be given a raise for carrying the entire season. The former Miss Bahamas even went as far as to warn others from joining the show. Whether it was a villain edit or her true persona, Lexi wasn’t given much support after leaving the series. She dodged death threats and negative press for months.
Scheana Shay
The Good as Gold singer was basically like a beauty mark on the face of Vanderpump Rules. You had to learn to love her. Scheana Shay was annoying, squeaky, and in need of constant attention 24/7. However, this didn’t mean she deserved the villain edit she was given in Season 8. The season showed Scheana as the scorned ex-lover of Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni. Each episode showed just how clingy the mother of one could be.
It was uncomfortable to watch the rookies do Scheana dirty. The edit got so bad she was even forced to start her own YouTube channel. Simply for the purpose of sharing the “real Scheana.” The former SURver shared that fans were not getting the full story thanks to a scorned producer. While on the Twisted Plot Podcast, Bri Dellinger, an editor on the series, admitted that the boy crazy edit was on purpose. This came after Scheana reportedly didn’t befriend her at a cast party. Bri said, “My favorite game is finding all the embarrassing things that Scheana does and putting them all in.” Wow. Just wow.
Kyle Richards
For multiple seasons, fans have been waiting to see the downfall of Kyle Richards. Between news of a possible divorce, trouble with sisters, and a possible lesbian crush, Kyle has had a lot working against her. But many were granted their wish during Season 10 as Kyle yelled, “Fu*k you, Dorit! You don’t get to tell me how to feel and how I react to things.” The meltdown came after Dorit Kemsley stated that Kyle wasn’t a fan of people not agreeing with her. Additionally, fans felt for years that Kyle had treated her co-stars like trash. So it was nice to see her being called out for once.
Lisa Vanderpump
The pretty in-pink Lisa Vanderpump was an acquired taste for most, but Season 9 did her dirty. After Puppygate and the fallout with Kyle, Lisa was left looking really evil. Further, Lisa had just lost her brother to suicide. Also, it did look like Dorit and her family treated the dog, Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, poorly. Looking back, many would note that LVP was the actual victim, yet Bravo placed the blame squarely on her shoulders.
Many felt Lisa was given the villain edit because she had chosen to leave the show and was villainized as a punishment. Sadly, even a lie detector test couldn’t save Lisa from the cesspool.
