Now that The Bachelor Season 28 is coming to a close, viewers are eager to learn who the lead of The Bachelorette Season 21 will be! While several women from Joey Graziadei’s season stood out, there are two specifically that have a good chance at becoming the next Bachelorette. On the other hand, some fans have rallied for someone outside of Bachelor Nation to be given the role. When it comes to Bachelor Nation, anything is possible! So who is the Bachelorette 2024?
While we do not yet know who the next Bachelorette will be, we certainly have some ideas. Without further ado, here are our predictions for who will lead The Bachelorette Season 21!
Who will be the next Bachelorette?
According to Reality Steve, there are two women from Joey’s season that have a good shot at being the Bachelorette.
The first is Maria Georgas, who was eliminated after hometowns. Maria was a fan favorite from the jump, for a couple of reasons. Maria was fun and carefree, unlike a lot of other girls in the house. She always allowed her personality to shine through, and didn’t try to be someone she wasn’t to impress Joey. On the other hand, Maria didn’t hesitate to stand up for herself when she was pulled into drama. This made her even more popular with viewers.
The second contender for The Bachelorette Season 21 lead is Daisy Kent. While Daisy is still in the running for Joey’s heart, there is a good chance she will be the next Bachelorette if he doesn’t choose her. Daisy has also become popular with fans, after opening up about her journey with hearing loss. If chosen to be the Bachelorette, Daisy would be the first lead with a cochlear implant. That’d be a huge win for diversity!
Between these two women, I personally think that Maria has a better chance at becoming the next Bachelorette lead. I love Daisy, but she may not want to have her own season if things don’t work out with Joey. Maria, on the other hand, has an eccentric personality that would shine on the Bachelorette, making her the perfect choice!
Who do fans want to be the Bachelorette in 2024?
While Maria and Daisy are both fan favorites, there is another reality TV star that they wouldn’t mind seeing as the next Bachelorette. AD Smith got her heart broken by Clay Gravesande during the Love Is Blind Season 6 finale, and fans want justice for her. Some have even suggested that AD should lead The Bachelorette Season 21, in a Love Is Blind and Bachelor Nation crossover!
I think AD was great on Love Is Blind, and definitely think she deserves to find her person! However, I’m not sure if The Bachelorette is the best place for her to do that. When it comes to choosing leads for The Bachelor and Bachelorette, I believe that keeping it in the franchise is the way to go. It would also unfair to the women from Joey’s season if AD was chosen over them, as they have already gone through and are familiar with the Bachelor process.
In terms of Bachelor Nation women, I think Maria has it in the bag. The only other contender could be Rachel Nance, who was eliminated after Fantasy Suites. While Rachel was not as popular as Maria and Daisy, she still got a lot of love from fans!
When will we find out who is the Bachelorette 2024?
Since The Bachelor season finale airs March 25, there’s a good chance that the Bachelorette will be announced then as well. Joey was announced as the next Bachelor during Charity Lawson’s season finale, which tends to be a trend. Charity, on the other hand, was announced as the next Bachelorette during the Women Tell All. It is possible that producers didn’t want to do that again to build more suspense for the viewers.
It is also possible that announcing the Bachelorette before the end of the season could take away from the excitement of the finale. If Maria was announced as the Bachelorette at the Women Tell All, then some viewers may not be as interested in Joey’s ending. Of course it is also possible that Daisy may be the next Bachelorette. That would explain why it was not announced at the Women Tell All.
If we had to guess, we would predict that Maria will be the lead of The Bachelorette Season 21. However, Bachelor Nation precedent shows us that we never know what to expect. So, it’s important to be prepared for anything!
