Christine Brown Will ‘Keep Moving Forward’ After Garrison’s Death

Garrison Brown’s tragic passing rocked the Sister Wives cast and community. Now, Christine Brown has shared some thoughts on her grieving amid the tragedy.

The son of Janelle and Kody Brown, Garrison was found by his brother and roommate, Gabriel Brown, having died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was just 25 years old when he passed. Garrison’s cousin confirmed that a funeral took place, but public details on the funeral are sparse.

However, these few public details are likely for the better as the Browns should be allowed to grieve privately if they desire. Christine, on the other hand, gave some insight into her grieving process.

Christine plans to stay busy after Garrison’s passing

On March 20, Christine shared a video via Instagram. “It’s been two weeks since Garrison’s death. That’s never easier to say,” she began. “And I have to keep working because it’s what I understand, it’s what I know and it’s what I know I need to do.”

She continued, “It’s a terrible thing to lose your son, terrible and we’re gonna miss him all the time, every single day for the rest of our lives so we gotta just keep moving forward.” If not for the focus on her work, Christine admitted she’d just “want to stay in bed all day.”

Christine encouraged fans to “start reaching out to the people you love and let them know.” She added, “If you feel like calling somebody, you gotta call them and just reach out and continue doing it.”

The post was met with an outpouring of support and sympathy, with commenters sharing love and their own experiences. “We all grieve differently. My work saved me during the loss of my son,” one commenter shared. Another wrote, “I understand so well.”
