Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s brother, Jeremy, had a bit of strange interaction at a premiere party for the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley. As with many things related to Scandoval, the interaction had fans questioning what was going on.
With plenty of stars present, there was certainly a lot to talk about. However, perhaps even more discussion-worthy than the premiere itself, was just one exchange caught by a fan on Instagram.
Ariana’s open contempt for Tom is all too clear. As such, one would think her brother would also know to shun Tom – to show his disapproval toward him. But that was quite the opposite of what happened here.
Why was Jeremy so friendly with Tom?
On March 20, the Instagram account @vanderpumprulesparty posted a video from The Valley premiere party at Jax’s bar in Studio City. The video saw Tom approaching someone with their back turned to the camera. The two joined hands before embracing. The caption read, “Sandoval showed up at the end of the Valley Premiere night at Jax’s Studio City…. Drop a comment about who he is hugging.”
Commenters immediately recognized the figure as Jeremy Madix. One commenter who had been present at the premiere party confirmed that it was indeed Ariana’s brother. For added confirmation that it was Jeremy, one commenter pointed to Scheana Shay’s Instagram, which showed the man himself wearing the same outfit as that which viewers saw in the reel.
Instagram users were surprised, to say the least. One commenter called it “odd,” asking if Ariana was “gonna cut off her brother now?” Another commenter simply wrote, “this is weird.” Indeed, it did seem strange for Ariana’s brother to be so friendly with Tom given, well, everything. Perhaps some context will rear its head in the coming days.
