You can call Craig Conover many things, but at least he’s honest. During a recent pop-up on Summer House, he got very candid about his relationship with Paige DeSorbo. He admitted that he wouldn’t be surprised if their relationship came to an end.
Craig made the surprising revelation during Summer House Season 8, Episode 5. Just earlier this year, he was running around saying they’d be engaged by the end of 2024. So, what happened?
Are Craig and Paige on the rocks?
The surprising revelation came during a conversation between Craig and Kyle Cooke. The Southern Charm star was talking about a series of lifestyle changes he had recently incorporated. He’s drinking less and focused on his mental and physical health. Kyle wondered if those changes were at the request of Paige. Crag insisted that the changes were unrelated to the relationship. Later that night, he started talking about his future with Paige, or lack thereof.
“I love Paige,” Craig said to Kyle. “If we work out, we work out. But if we don’t, it’s not the end of the world.”
Kyle was beyond puzzled. He needed Craig to elaborate. He replied, “Do you see a world in which you don’t end up with her?”
“I mean, there’s always that chance, right? We do live in different places,” Craig admitted.
The pillow connoisseur continued, “She lives in New York City, she loves New York. I love Charleston, I run a company out of Charleston. It’s very probable. You’d be naive to be like, ‘It’s all just gonna work out.'”
Long distance or not, Craig has seen his fair share of reality TV romances implode. On Season 8 of Summer House, we’re seeing it happen with Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard. Regardless, you’d think Craig would try to have a little bit more optimism about his future with Paige. Imagine how she must feel watching this back?
During the chat, Craig admitted that the amount of uncertainty in their relationship had started to weigh on him. He wants to know for sure what’s next with their relationship, but neither of them is willing to budge on their location requirements. Craig said that he’s worried his patience will wear out before Paige is ready to settle down. Admitting this on camera seems like a way for Craig to put some pressure on Paige.
