On the Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa Pippen isn’t considered the most trustworthy source by the rest of the women. Many of the 33101 ladies find the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen to be a clout chaser who will do almost anything for a spot in the limelight, including morphing into the sixth Kardashian sister. News broke this past week that Larsa and Marcus Jordan are over again. Their relationship news seems laughable at this point because what are the odds they are back together in a week?
Their over-the-top love story seemed so sickly covered in rose-colored glasses that their love for one another seemed hard to believe. At times, their relationship seemed more about lust, transporting most of us back to middle school when we had our first crush. Naturally, a flame like this was not going to last, and now their once unbreakable love story is crashing and burning back into the atmosphere. But I don’t even think Larsa is that upset.
Breakup number 1
Larsa first soft-launched her breakup with Marcus during Superbowl LVIII. The tequila pusher truly thought that no one would notice if she and Marcus quietly deleted one another from social media. Obviously, we noticed. Bravo fans are standing guard day and night for any juicy news. The duo deleted all the photos with one another and removed any information about their relationship from their bios.
However, only a few days later, Marcus and Larsa were spotted out shopping at a Miami florist on Valentine’s Day. Two dozen roses later, the two seemed on a better page as they were snapped walking into Larsa’s bachelorette apartment, presumably to make up. So, for at least a few weeks, everything seemed status quo with the couple.
Breakup number 2
It turns out that everything was not okay in paradise because Larsa and Marcus split up again. According to an insider via People Larsa needed a partner who is “ambitious and driven.” That feels like a slap in the face to Marcus, who clearly took their podcast seriously! Evidently, the duo called it quits after The Traitors reunion, but why do I feel like Larsa has just been crying wolf? The source also revealed that Larsa “is focusing on her exciting next chapter now. She’s always been someone who is ambitious and driven. She needs a match who has those similar qualities.”
Is the breakup a PR stunt?
I wouldn’t put it past Larsa or Marcus to have calculated a lot when it came to their relationship. I mean, from a PR standpoint the ex-wife of Scottie and the son of Micahel Jordan dating was bound to get traction in the media. Did they both just make a deal to date for a bit to get their names out in the press? And the whole dramatic breakup seemed just a bit much. The 49-year-old and 33-year-old should know better than to play silly games on social media.
Michael is probably thrilled
Oh, to be a fly on the wall of the Jordan household. We all watched as the most recent season of the Real Housewives of Miami showed the famed Chicago Bulls player joking and truth-telling about his son’s relationship. Basically, he didn’t seem thrilled that his son was dating Larsa. I get it; the woman has a lot of baggage. The GOAT has never been one to mince words, and when asked by the media if he approved, he said, “No!”
New and improved Larsa
Larsa has wasted no time reintroducing herself after her breakup. There are some nice things for Larsa to look forward to, including a good night’s sleep as she won’t be asked for sex five times a night and not having to throw welcome home parties for Marcus after being out of town for less than a week. Larsa, think of all the time you’ve gotten back. But I still wonder how long this break will last. Are we all just being duped? If I were a betting woman, I wouldn’t be surprised if, in a week or two, we saw the duo back together.
