The Bravoverse was recently swept up with news of a friendship-ending fight between Lala Kent and Ariana Madix at the Vanderpump Rules reunion. However, this is just one of multiple fallings out for Lala. One, for example, took place in the past between her and Katie Maloney.
In her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, two fans called in to ask Katie about the off-camera dispute before the reunion last year. After being asked what happened and where she stands with Lala, Katie answered, “Um, that’s a good question.”
She admitted, “I’m not entirely sure exactly what she’s talking about per se.” Andy Cohen, knowing more than he let on, asked if there was a falling out after the most recently taped reunion. Katie laughed and said, “Good question as well.” However, Lala seemed to confirm just as much.
Is the feud between Katie and Lala one-sided?
In a Q&A on her Instagram Story, a fan wrote to Lala saying, “On WWHL with Katie, Andy hinted that you two aren’t cool with each other.” Lala essentially confirmed the comment, responding, “I’m sure if I go back to being real miserable we’ll get real thick again.” She admitted that she “contemplated not posting this because I love her mom. Sorry ter!”
As for Katie’s take on the reported falling out? She further said on WWHL, “Lala and I, you know, we do have the same fighting style … A year and a half ago, we did have a falling out,” she confirmed. However, this falling out was confusing to Katie as everything seemed fine between them before that year’s reunion.
“I don’t really know exactly what she’s talking about,” Katie admitted. As for Ariana, Lala confirmed the newfound feud on The Talk. “I think the exact tweet was ‘Ariana eviscerated Lala at the reunion, and it was friendship ruining,’” Lala said, addressing the rumor. “And only one of those things is true. I’ll let y’all decide.” Given Lala’s pride, it wasn’t hard to decide.
