Bravo basically gambled big time on the Season 14 reboot of Real Housewives of New York. An all-new cast was brought in after Season 13 tanked. While some RHONY fans may have been hesitant, the group slowly won over most viewers. After what was deemed a successful season, the casting rumors started to fly.
Meanwhile, Jenna Lyons, the break-out star, hinted that she wasn’t comfortable filming. Then there were rumors that Sai De Silva was fired and Ubah Hassan was demoted in favor of some veteran RHONY faces. Well, the time for speculation is over. The entire cast is ready to bring it for Season 15.
And now a cheesy announcement from Bravo
Bravo TV and Bravo Andy both shared a video of the cast reveal on Instagram. In the post, the ladies, called the “Cheez Gurls,” hopped on a video call. “So, is it there?” a glamorous Jessel Taank asked as she held her glass of champagne. “Listen to me, it’s there,” Ubah stated while snacking on a banana. “I don’t know if it’s there,” Sai responded, holding a piece of cheese. Shout out to cheese gate last season.
“Well, I heard it’s really close,” Brynn Whitfield quipped while sipping her wine and winking at the camera. Erin Lichy stated, “Guys, I’m telling you. It’s there.” Then we have Jenna. She was sporting sunglasses and holding a gaming unit. “Honestly, I think I’m going to be the one to dispel the rumors because…Season 15. It’s there,” she said.
The text, #RHONY 15. IT’S THERE,” displayed on the screen. Then the ladies danced and celebrated, except for Jenna. She just continued to look fabulous. Jessel added, “Amazing news, girls. It’s really up and coming.” The video was captioned, “It’s there— and so are all the ladies. The ENTIRE CAST is returning to #RHONY for Season 15!”
I love all the callbacks to the previous season. And I’m living for another season of drama in NYC.
