Everyone’s favorite former Real Housewives producer has weighed in on Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Carlos King just did a guest appearance on Two Ts in a Pod, and he had some tough criticism about Season 8 of RHOP. In particular, he took aim at Ashley Darby.
Of course, everyone knows Season 8 of RHOP has been difficult. Even Andy Cohen called it “frustrating” during Part 1 of the reunion. Some people blame the issues on the Green-Eyed Bandits and want to see them fired. Others blame Dr. Wendy Osefo and Candiace Dillard Bassett.
Carlos argued that the problem was Ashley, and he said Bravo should hand her a pink slip.
Tough criticism from Carlos
Carlos jumped on Two Ts in the Pod to help Teddi Mellencamp recap the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion. Since Tamra Judge is busy working on The Real Housewives, she left these two former employees to sit around and talk about the show.
When the conversation shifted to Ashley and her divorce from Michael Darby, Carlos accused her of faking the whole thing.
“Who cares about this fake divorce?” Carlos quipped. “They’re not getting divorced, Teddi.”
Carlos argued that Ashley’s entire divorce storyline is just a way to get around the fact that Michael doesn’t want to film RHOP. According to Carlos, Ashley still lives with Michael, and they’re still having sex. He claimed we’re all being duped by their neverending divorce.
With that in mind, Carlos said that Bravo should fire Ashley for not being transparent. If his accusations about her faking a divorce are true, then he might have a point.
Some people want Robyn Dixon fired for hiding her marital issues behind her podcast’s paywall. Faking a divorce seems more egregious.
