Megan Fox has finally addressed Chelsea Blackwell’s comparisons to her during Season 6 of Love Is Blind.
In case you need a refresher, the reality star told her pod-mate, Jimmy Presnell, that people told her she resembled Megan Fox. After the moment aired, social media exploded with comments and shares about the exchange, prompting Chelsea to issue an apology.
Since the chatter has died down, Megan discussed the viral moment with E! News and said she’s never “had more people text me about something.” She continued, explaining she doesn’t watch much television, but people stopped her at “Oscar parties” to chat about the clip.
Megan comes to Chelsea’s defense…
Although the Transformers star admitted she doesn’t watch the Netflix franchise, she really felt for what Chelsea was going through. “I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied,” she said. “I think people went way too hard.”
As Megan continued, she said she could see Chelsea receiving the comparisons. “I did see a picture of her,” she said. “A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You kind of look like Megan Fox.’ So I believe she’s telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her.”
“Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn’t happen to her. Best wishes and blessings.”
Chelsea admitted to having a tough time adapting to normal life once the show was available to stream. She revealed in February that Netflix helped her find a therapist and paid for the cost.
“I never thought I ‘needed’ therapy, but I had a ton of inner issues I needed to debunk, and my life, my mindset, my heart has completely changed. I thought I loved myself before but I have never felt THIS kind of love,” she said at the time.
