Jax Taylor has some qualms with Lisa Vanderpump. As far back as the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 trailer’s premiere, fans saw there would be drama between the two.
But no one could’ve predicted how things would change going forward from there. Jax and Brittany Cartwright’s spinoff, The Valley, would premiere, close in time with the shocking news of their separation.
In response to news of the separation, Lisa made a shady remark saying “Everybody predicted” it would happen. She didn’t even reach out. But that’s not what made Jax grind his gears over Lisa.
Why Jax doesn’t esteem Lisa anymore
In his recent appearance on the Breaking the Rules-Married to the Drama podcast, Jax explained some of the hard feelings he harbored toward Lisa.
“I had an issue just because … I felt like I’d given my life to Vanderpump Rules,” he began. “I’ve literally been an open book. And I felt like Lisa and I were very, very close. I’ve gone to her home and … she’s broke down in front of me when she was having issues on Housewives. I broke down in front of her.”
Jax went on, “I felt like we had a little bit of a bond – kind of a mother/son thing. And what bothered me the most was when Brittany gave birth and we didn’t get a phone call. That bothered me to the core.”
He continued, “It just felt like … Brittany came into this world – the show – and gave everything she had. And we have this baby and just not getting a phone call? When we always try to reach out to her as much as we could? … That hurt me. So, that’s where I had the issue.” Jax teased that there would be a conversation addressing these frustrations on his part.
When asked if Lisa had reached out to either party at the news of their separation, Brittany and Jax confirmed that she had not.
