Stassi Schroeder made waves for turning down The Valley, but frankly, she doesn’t need it. Despite being fired from Vanderpump Rules in 2020, Stassi’s maintained a successful career outside of reality TV.

Stassi’s had many other jobs over the years, including model, blogger, podcast host, influencer, and author. She started building up her side career in her last few seasons on Vanderpump Rules. Her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, could be controversial but was very popular. In 2019, Stassi wrote a book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook, which became a New York Times bestseller. That same year, she hosted a web series, Basically Stassi, on Bravo’s YouTube channel.

Before Summer 2020, Stassi appeared on top of the world. Her book and podcast tours drew major crowds, a Next Level Basic follow-up was in the works, and she wrote a guest column for Glamour Magazine. However, her racially insensitive actions and comments towards Faith Stowers led to Stassi’s firing from VPR. Afterward, her podcast was removed from platforms, the column got pulled, and plans for a second book were canceled. As it turns out, getting “canceled” was just a bump in the road. Four years after she left Bravo behind, how does Stassi make money? And how much is the 35-year-old reportedly worth?

What is Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder’s net worth?

Stassi’s net worth is reportedly about $2 million.

That’s going by the estimate on Celebrity Net Worth. Despite being off the show for years, her net worth is still in line with former castmates. Reportedly, Stassi has the same estimated net worth as Ariana Madix, with whom she shares a birthday.

Adding to her net worth are the various collaborations she’s had over the years. Stassi’s fashion sense earned extra attention on VPR and led to other opportunities, including two collections. In 2014, she had an accessories line with ShopPrimadonna.com. And in 2019, she released a capsule clothing line with JustFab. She also had a Nocking Point wine line with Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute.

How does Stassi make money?

After welcoming their first child, Stassi and husband Beau Clark began a new podcast about parenting, The Good The Bad The Baby. The Patreon-exclusive podcast launched in March 2021 and is still going.

Eventually, it was announced that her second book would come out after all. This time, it was all about getting canceled. Released in April 2022, Off With My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom also become a NYT bestseller and lead to another successful book tour. Later that year, the Straight Up With Stassi podcast was relaunched. In 2023, Stassi went on another podcast tour.

With multiple podcasts, patreons, live show tours, and best-selling books, Stassi has plenty of money-making opportunities these days. She has 3.3 million followers on Instagram, the most of any current or former VPR cast member. This led to numerous brand deals with companies like Vivrelle and MGM Resorts. Like some of her former VPR co-stars, Stassi has an Amazon storefront, which she earns commission from.

Stassi recently rebranded her podcast

These days, it seems like every Bravo star has a podcast. But Straight Up With Stassi was an outlier when it launched in 2015. Two years after the podcast was brought back, Stassi’s switching things up. In addition to joining Dear Media Studios, Stassi also announced that she was changing her podcast name to just “Stassi”.

In an Instagram post announcing the name change, Stassi (the person) explained what fans can expect from Stassi (the podcast). Explaining the reasons for the shift, she said, “I started it nine years ago with this idea to just talk about things I was interested in. And over time, it’s become so formal, I got bored. I got bored interviewing people…I’m not Diane Sawyer!” She continued, “I’m embracing the chaos…I am unstructuring the f*ck out of this podcast. I might even do solos, stream of consciousness.”

She listed expected topics, including period pieces, fashion, gold, wine, aliens, and conspiracy theories. So, while the name and structure changed, it seems Stassi (the person and the podcast) will stay true to her brand. Which makes sense, because that’s clearly paying off.
