Fatherhood suits him. Former Bachelor bad boy Nick Viall welcomed baby daughter River with fiancèe Natalie Joy back in February. And it sounds like he’s pretty smitten.
The new father has a wedding to plan and baby River will be part of the ceremony. He recently spoke with PEOPLE about his upcoming nuptials and how fatherhood is treating him.

“She’ll definitely be a part of the wedding, for sure. Yeah, we’re lucky to have her in every possible way,” Nick gushed.
Despite how much work babies are, Nick seemed pretty chill about fatherhood when he stated that he hasn’t “changed all that much.” Whew, lucky him!
“But it certainly has given me even more meaning and more purpose,” Nick added. “And it’s hard to be mad for any long period of time, knowing I get to go home to my daughter and raise her. And I love everything about fatherhood, so I wouldn’t change a thing.”
“It’s only added to my life. It has only added more meaning and purpose and wonderful moments,” the popular podcast host shared. “I truly feel like I’m living the dream and it’s been an incredibly fulfilling experience.”
“We pinch ourselves every day”
“I think, more than anything, parenthood brings a lot of unexpected turns. So we’ve given ourselves some grace. We know how much we love our daughter and care about her wellbeing, and parenthood is the hardest job,” Nick explained.
“We’re just here rolling with all the punches and we’re enjoying all the moments. So far, there’s hasn’t been any ‘Oh crap’ moments. I think it’s, ‘Oh crap,’ just how crazy and cool it is that we’re parents every day. I think we pinch ourselves every day. That hasn’t gotten old yet,” he concluded.
Nick and Joy got engaged in January of 2023 after two years of dating. The happy couple announced the good news in a joint Instagram post that Nick captioned, “For the rest of my life, it’s you.”
