Tom Sandoval ‘Might Have To’ Go back to Old SUR Job

The Toms are barely surviving on Vanderpump Rules. Yep — if you’ve been watching, you know Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz have been in the hot seat ever since Sandoval’s salacious seven-month affair was exposed to the group. Since then, he’s had some setbacks, especially regarding his finances and the house he bought with Ariana Madix

During the Vanderpump Rules After Show, the reality star opened up to Jax Taylor and Schwartz about possibly jumping back behind Lisa Vanderpump’s bar at SUR to stash extra cash.

While chatting about Lisa and her many establishments, Jax spoke about the last time he’d seen her, saying it was an intense sit-down. However, despite their issues in the past, Jaxy Boy is more than open to having another conversation — if it happens naturally.

“I’m open to it now because we squashed [our issues],” Jax said. “She’s busy. We’re busy. I don’t go to Hollywood that much, either. I don’t make myself available for her to see me or anything like that.”

When Schwartz asked the House of Villains star if he would “ask for your job back at SUR?” his pal Sandoval jumped in with a surprised answer. “I might have to,” he said. Schwartz had a shocking reply, too, saying, “I know. Me too, dude.”

Although the Toms may take on the bartending journey together, one thing they won’t be doing is living together. As we’ve seen in the last few episodes, Sandoval has been trying to figure out whether he’ll be able to keep the house he shared with Ariana since she was planning to move out

“If I have to refinance, it would be more than double of what I’m currently paying,” he said. However, he thought he could make it work if he got a roommate — specifically Schwartz.

Sandoval asked his business partner to move in and pay $6,000 in monthly rent.

“I can not in good conscience put [$6,000] toward something that I’m not going to get a return on,” Schwartz explained. “I’m not building equity in here.”

He later spoke with producers during his confessional, saying he wanted to make smarter decisions with his money. “I mean, the last high-stakes venture I did with Sandoval, you know, it’s kind of still haunting me to this day.”

Vanderpump Rules continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c.
