The legal battle between former Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn and her estranged husband, Christian “Richard”/Dumontet continues. Last month, police responded to a sad domestic incident at Christine and Christian’s LA home. Christine alleged Christian threw a bag containing a glass bottle that missed and hit their toddler son.
In the aftermath, Christian was arrested twice. Christine has since made several concerning allegations about Christian. The couple ended up filing temporary restraining orders (TROs) against each other and are battling for primary custody of their son. Christian also raced to file for divorce before Christine.
Christian dodged a domestic violence felony charge for the incident. Now, Christine has accused Christian of using his money and resources to also dodge her TRO.
Christine believes Christian is “hiding out” at a hotel
Radar Online obtained court documents outlining Christine’s allegations. She believes Christian has been avoiding her numerous attempts to serve him the TRO by “hiding out” at The Four Seasons Beverly Hills under a fake name and paying staff to stay quiet.
Docs explain that a process server made “multiple attempts” to serve Christian at the hotel. However, they “found no one in the public areas matching Petitioner’s description.” They were also unable to get around hotel security.
The account claims that the hotel staff are uncooperative. They’ve allegedly refused to give any information about Christian’s presence.
Christine says Christian has “ample financial resources” to remain in hiding indefinitely.
The documents state, “Based on her knowledge of Petitioner’s behaviors and information collected over the past several weeks, Respondent believes Petitioner has mostly remained locked in a hotel room at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, evading service.”
According to Christine, the “last sighting” of her estranged husband occurred when he moved belongings from their shared home with hired security.
“Indeed, it appears that Petitioner himself has no desire to accept service of process in this matter, and will, in fact, go to great lengths to avoid it. Petitioner has ample financial resources to continue hiding out in an undisclosed location indefinitely, with the goal of having Respondent’s Request against him dismissed.”
Christine argues that because Christian hasn’t been served the TRO, he has had opportunities to “violate it repeatedly without consequence.” Thus, she requests court approval to serve him via first-class mail to his attorney of record.
Christine shared that Christian’s attorney confirmed representation on April 22 through a Substitution of Attorney and should accept service on his behalf.
The judge hasn’t yet made a ruling.
Selling Sunset streams on Netflix.
