Randall Emmett Using Pseudonym for Director Credit on John Travolta Movie

Is Randall Emmett looking to shy away from the limelight? The movie producer and former fiance to Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is back in the news with a new feature film, Cash Out, starring John Travolta. But this time he’s directing instead of producing. And it doesn’t seem like he wants anyone to know about it.

Randall wants to direct on the down-low

Randall was once at the top of VPR, whisking Lala and crew around on his PJ, and handing out Gucci slides like candy. And let’s not forget his bestie Tom Schwartz couldn’t get enough of his pickleball court. However, the house of cards came crashing down and Randall was soon off Pump Rules

Allegations about Randall started coming out left and right. There was the infamous LA Times expose regarding alleged shady business practices. Along with numerous lawsuits for unpaid debts. Even Jax Taylor claimed Randall owed him money. Guess he’s not an investor in Jax’s new bar?

He and Lala were also no more after allegations came out he was cheating on her. BJ’s for PJ’s were now a thing of the past. The two are currently in a messy custody battle over their daughter Ocean Kent Emmett. And unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.

With all the drama going on one could see why Randall might not want his name front and center on his movie, even if it does star John Travolta. So, what’s a man to do? Rebrand of course.

Page Six reported that Randall directed his feature film Cash Out under the pseudonym “Ives.” Their source stated, “He’s known as a producer, and he’s starting to do a lot of directing. He’s decided he’s going to direct going forward under the name Ives and produce under the name Randall Emmett.”

Randall’s rep also verified the change. They said, “Randall made a creative decision to use his middle name, Ives, to distinguish himself as a director rather than a producer.” Perhaps Ives will have a better chance at filming movies with higher Rotten Tomatoes scores. With Gotti’s zero percent score, there’s nowhere to go but up.

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK IT’S A GOOD IDEA FOR RANDALL TO CHANGE HIS NAME TO IVES FOR DIRECTING JOBS? DO YOU PLAN ON SEEING HIS NEW MOVIE?
