Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 began with a bang. And according to Dolores Catania, it will end with an explosion. Of course, those who caught the season premiere already knew that.
The premiere opened with a teaser for things to come. Teasing the finale right out of the gate, fans saw the aftermath of and clips from an explosive fight at Rails Steakhouse. “How did it ever come to this?” a producer asked off-screen.
Meanwhile, Dolores sat alone at a table with mounds of broken glass on the floor. “Horrible,” Dolores said, describing the scene in just one word. Now, she’s given further context on the catastrophic fight.
Dolores says there’s “no coming back” from Season 14
“What you’re going to see is the finale of a lot of relationships there,” Dolores told Us Weekly. “It’s definitely closure for people, and you can’t come back from the stuff that you’re going to see at the finale. No coming back.”
Dolores said that there may have been “a shadow of a doubt” over the RHONJ feud at some point. However, after the Rails fight, she confirmed, “That’s gone.” She further teased, “I tried so hard to not get it to the point that it’s at, but because it got to this point, you have to say, ‘It’s so bad that it’s time to let things go.’”
Dolores’ New Jersey costars spoke similarly of the finally. “I think the finale is so dirty and just not good,” Melissa Gorga told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s just a big no-no what happened.” In Melissa’s words, the finale “puts a cork” in any chance of ending the show’s longstanding feud.
