Part I of the Vanderpump Rules reunion is expected to air on Bravo on Tuesday, May 14 at 8 PM/EST. The reunion was filmed in March, six months after production wrapped in September. Since the cast filmed the reunion, they have been giving hints about what fans can expect. In addition, host Andy Cohen and online sleuths have also been spilling the tea about all the drama that went down at the reunion.
Here’s everything we know:
Andy called the reunion ‘incredibly intense’
Andy dished about the reunion on the March 18 episode of his SiriusXM show, telling fans filming was “incredibly intense and electric.” The host shared that while the topics were quite serious, the cast did a great job of not allowing their emotions to get the best of them.
“[All the topics] were calmly discussed,” he shared.
Additionally, he told co-host John Hill that the reunion was “compelling,” saying he found himself eager to continue engaging with the drama after filming wrapped.
“I will say this, there are two kinds of reunions,” he said. “When I leave the taping, I either want to engage the producers more about it…or the total converse where I just want to go home, have a tequila, listen to music, and forget about the entire affair.”
He continued, “[The Vanderpump Rules reunion] was one that I was wanting to engage in. Talk to [Executive Producer] Alex Baskin on the way home. Talk to Lisa Vanderpump…There was so much to talk about.”
Did Lala and Ariana have a falling out?
Lala Kent had Ariana Madix’s back after Scandoval but in Season 11, she received backlash from fans for being a flip-flopper. Viewers felt she was too sympathetic to Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss.
In March, a fan comment surfaced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that claimed Ariana “eviscerated” Lala at the reunion. Lala spoke out about the comment during an appearance on The Talk, telling fans the social media post didn’t capture the full story.
“I think the exact [fan] tweet was ‘Ariana eviscerated Lala at the reunion and it was friendship ruining.’ And only one of those things is true,” she said. “I’ll let you all decide.”
Ariana also responded to the comment during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, telling Andy she didn’t “eviscerate” anyone. However, she did express disappointment about how some of her female co-stars, mostly notably Lala and Scheana Shay, talked about her behind her back this season.
She told Andy she thought the girls were a united front this season.
“I really thought that we were like the freakin Spice Girls,” she said. “And then, I was watching it and I was like, ‘Oh, maybe not so much.”
The Season 11 seating chart
Bravo shared the Season 11 reunion seating chart on Instagram on March 16. There were no real big surprises. Sandoval and Ariana scored the seats closest to Andy and Lisa. Ariana sat next to Andy, followed by Katie Maloney, then Lala, and finally James Kennedy. Sandoval sat next to Lisa, followed by Tom Schwartz, Scheana, and Brock Davies. Ally Lewber and Jo Wenberg were not included in the seating chart. We’re assuming they will make an appearance at some point.
The only surprise in the seating chart was that Lala was seated next to Katie and Ariana. She’s been involved in a lot of drama with the women this season.
They watched the finale together
For months the cast has been teasing that they did something very different at the end of this year’s reunion.
The first official teaser trailer dropped on Monday, May 6, which revealed that for the first time, the cast watched the finale together. Andy said producers wanted to get the cast’s real-time reaction to the last few minutes of the finale.
The trailer made it seem as though the cast had a very emotional reaction to the finale. Ariana cried and said watching the clip “hurt her feelings a lot.”
The teaser also revealed that there will be an emotional exchange between Ariana and Sandoval.
